Mother tongue is the language that is spoken at home from childhood.
The mechanism is self corrective.
The child corrects himself/herself.
No father/mother points out the mistake. The correct way of pronouncing the words comes in due course automatically. That is the speciality of MOTHER TONGUE.
All other languages are TAUGHT and
LEARNT through somebody - teacher, friend or some other person.
Because you were not accustomed to writing in Sourashtram for a long time, the correct spelling to be used can be acquired by practice only.
People like us are here to point out the lapse, if necessary.
As I said, the mechanism is self corrective. So you yourself will detect the mistake, if you read once again after finishing your writing.
If you read, the Sourashtra Literature, then you will come to know many literary words, which you have not come across in day to day speech.
Mastery of a language, including Mother tongue can be acquired by constant practice only.
YOU SHOULD HAVE THE WILL TO USE YOUR MOTHER TONGUE IN COMMUNICATING WITH YOUR RELATIVES AND FRIENDS.
For this you can use any script that you and the addressee are familiar with.
If you compare the Sourashtra Script
(lipi NOT libi) with those of English, Tamil, Kannada, Telugu and Devanagari (Hindi), you will come to know that ours is the BEST of all the Indian Scripts. It is very simple, uniform and aesthetic and what not.
Only those who have not practised Sourashtra Script [otherwise called RamaRai Script by the advocates of Devanagari Script] are averse to using Sourashtra Script. Once you start using Sourashtra script, you will like Sourashtra Sript only.

Even otherwise you can use any script.
The point is that you should write in Sourashtra Language only and not in Tamil or English.
